Perform other related duties as assigned. Job Qualifications Required Education High school diploma or equivalent. Certification Current Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) certification through the National Healthcareer Association (NHA), American Medical Technologists (AMT), or another recognized certifying organization. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Experience Clinic office experience or related education/training. Experience with general office functions and professional written and verbal communication. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures. Understanding of HIPAA, OSHA, infection prevention, and patient privacy requirements. Ability to accurately obtain vital signs and perform routine clinical procedures. Ability to collect and process laboratory specimens and perform point-of-care testing.
