The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is dedicated to ending cancer through exceptional patient care, research, education, and prevention. The Orthopaedic Oncology department provides state-of-the-art care for adults and children with musculoskeletal bone tumors, including osteosarcoma, Ewing's sarcoma, giant cell tumors, chondroblastoma, chondrosarcoma, chordoma, and soft tissue sarcomas. The department focuses on maximizing patient function through advanced surgical and reconstructive techniques while also managing orthopaedic conditions in oncology patients such as fractures, arthritis, avascular necrosis, and osteoporosis. The Advanced Practice Provider plays a critical role in supporting inpatient and outpatient orthopaedic oncology care. The Advanced Practice Provider collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to manage complex patient populations, coordinate surgical care, and provide comprehensive treatment planning. The Advanced Practice Provider contributes directly to UT MD Anderson's mission by delivering high-quality patient-centered care across the continuum of treatment. The ideal candidate will have preferred experience in Orthopaedic Surgery or Oncology and experience caring for inpatient populations as a mid-level advanced practice provider.
