Worcester Rehabilitation & Health Care Center is hiring an RN Assistant Director of Nursing Services! Worcester Rehab is a 146-bed skilled nursing facility located at 119 Providence Street. It serves a large population of residents with substance use disorders. This is a salaried role with weekly pay. $50 to $55 an hour with weekly pay. As the Assistant Director of Nursing, the primary purpose of your job position is to assist the Director of Nursing Services in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Services Department. Experience & Education: Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in this state. Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited school of nursing, college, or university. B.S.N. preferred. CPR certified. Must have as a minimum, one (1) year experience as a supervisor in a hospital, long-term care facility, or other related health care facility. Evenings, overnights, and weekends come with shift differentials. Weekly pay. As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) the primary purpose of your job position is to provide your assigned residents with routine daily nursing care in accordance with our established nursing care procedures, and as may be directed by the licensed staff nurse. Experience & Education: Must possess an active and unencumbered CNA license in Massachusetts, or be eligible to obtain one. New graduates welcome! Duties & Responsibilities: Meet the nursing and rehabilitation needs of each resident. Participate in planning and following current resident care plan on all residents under his/her care. Complete resident assignments effectively and promptly. Observe changes in resident conditions and promptly report them. Document accurately and completely. Meet personal grooming needs for each resident. Promptly answer call lights and assure that all are placed within reach of the resident. Assure the resident care areas are left clean and in an orderly manner. Methods of identification of residents are maintained. Maintain that all residents are appropriately identified (i.e., I.D. bracelets, etc.). Worcester Rehab is hiring a part-time RN MDS Coordinator to join our reimbursement team! Salaried role with weekly pay. Worcester Rehab is a 146-bed skilled nursing facility with a large SUDS population. $45 to $50 an hour, depending on experience. You plan, organize, and direct the MDS process involving overseeing resident care plans through clinical assessment, review of resident's medical history, personal interviews, and completion of MDS reports. Experience & Education: Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited school of nursing, college or university. Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as an RN in this state. Prior experience in MDS required. Duties & Responsibilities: Coordination of MDS process Oversees ADL training for facility and staff. Issues and delivers denial notices timely and appropriately. Complete and transmit all CMS approved item sets (MDS) Must be knowledgeable of and follow current CMS regulatory guidelines as described in RAI Manual. Complies with facility privacy policies and procedures and protects residents’ individual health information. Maintains Medicare meeting minutes per Medicare program agreement. Issues and delivers Medicare denial letters per CMS regulations. Assures appropriate management of residents’ Medicare/Insurance benefits. Maintains adequate systems to ensure appropriate documents are sufficient to support billed services. Other duties assigned by manager. Hourly rate ranges from $35 to $40 for LPNs and $42 to $47 for RNs, depending on the shift. Maintain an accurate and safe control of all drugs for which he/she is responsible. Initiate any and all emergency procedures as necessary. Demonstrate correct safety techniques in accord with orientation and training processes of Athena and your specific job description. Complies with facility Privacy Practices Policies and Procedures and protects residents’ individual health information. Other duties assigned by Director of Nursing and other managerial team members.
