MedSurg RN Job Description – Marshfield, WI

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical for a contract assignment in Marshfield, Wisconsin.

• Start Date: December 15, 2025

• Contract Length: 13 weeks

• Shift: 3x12 Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

• Location: Medical Surgical Unit

• Pay Range: $2,400 – $2,542 per week (gross)

Requirements:

• Active RN license (state eligibility required)

• Minimum 1 year of MedSurg experience

• Current BLS certification (AHA required)

• Strong assessment, organizational, and communication skills

Job Duties for MedSurg RN:

• Provide direct patient care to adult patients with diverse medical conditions

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

• Monitor patient status, interpret vital signs, and document accurately

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans

• Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions

• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers

• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards

• Respond promptly to emergencies and changes in patient condition
