What You’ll Do Bed-Bound ADL Support Provide full assistance with all activities of daily living, including: Bathing and bed baths Grooming and personal hygiene Dressing assistance Oral care Toileting and incontinence care Brief changes Linen changes as needed Skin observation and reporting Assistance with feeding or meal setup as needed Hydration support Maintaining client comfort, dignity, and cleanliness throughout the shift Check, Change, and Repositioning Caregivers will be responsible for routine overnight care, including: Checking the client regularly throughout the shift Changing the client every 2 to 4 hours, or as needed Repositioning the client every 2 hours to promote comfort, circulation, and skin integrity Monitoring for signs of skin breakdown, redness, discomfort, or other changes in condition Ensuring the client remains clean, dry, safe, and comfortable at all times Hoyer Lift Support Caregivers must be comfortable assisting with or performing transfers using a Hoyer lift , following all safety procedures and care plan instructions.
