Step into a dynamic contract opportunity serving students across a district near Kansas City, MO as a Registered Nurse. This pivotal role supports PreK-12th grade sites, ensuring student health and wellness while adapting to a variety of school environments. Youll receive two weeks of thorough training to prepare you for managing a health room independently, often as the sole RN onsite. Your schedule varies from 7:00 am-2:30 pm or 9:00 am-4:30 pm, reflecting the start and dismissal times of different campuses each week. Flexibility and open communication are essential, as weekly assignments are shared each Sundaywith potential adjustments for field trips or staff absences.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active Missouri RN license in good standing (verified with no disciplinary action)
  • Minimum of recent experience in pediatric settingsICU, ER, or schools strongly preferred
  • Skilled in supporting children from PreK through 12th grade
  • Technologically proficient; comfortable managing electronic health records and multitasking in a fast-paced setting
  • Adaptable and willing to float between different school locations daily
  • Excellent communicator and team player capable of responding to changing priorities

Key Responsibilities:
