Director of Nursing (DON)

Complete Care at Hillside, a proud member of the Complete Care family, is seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our clinical team. Our 106-bed, 4-star facility in Wilmington, DE is known for its strong reputation for quality care, teamwork, and resident-centered service — and we’re looking for a leader who can continue to uphold and enhance that standard.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of the nursing department to ensure the highest level of care for residents.

• Lead, mentor, and develop nursing staff to promote excellence and professional growth.

• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations and company policies.

• Collaborate with the Administrator and interdisciplinary team to maintain strong clinical outcomes and survey readiness.

• Monitor clinical programs, infection control, and quality improvement initiatives.

• Participate in resident care planning and family communication.

• Drive a culture of compassion, respect, and accountability.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in the state of Delaware (or eligibility for reciprocity).

• Minimum 3 years of nursing leadership experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility.

• Strong understanding of federal and state regulations.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

• Commitment to fostering a positive team culture and high-quality resident care.
