Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and other medical treatments as needed

  • Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the supervisor or physician

  • Assist with the activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding

  • Support residents with continence issues and provide assistance with medication management

  • Participate in professionally supervised therapy programs and on-site therapy services

Ability to effectively assess, plan and implement therapeutic nursing services in a multidisciplinary setting. Skills in assessment, considerable knowledge of nursing principles and practice, staffing, budgeting, employee management, regulatory requirements and documentation of care; ability to meet regulatory requirements. LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS: Valid current RN license from the state or from a compact state, where applicable. Certified in Psychiatric Nursing preferred.
