Key Responsibilities

Lead & Inspire

  • Support and guide nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs) with strong, hands-on leadership

  • Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management

  • Foster a positive, accountable, and team-driven culture

Drive Clinical Excellence

  • Ensure exceptional resident care and up-to-date care plans

  • Conduct rounds and respond proactively to changes in condition

  • Oversee safe medication administration and clinical practices

  • Participate in admissions, transfers, and discharges

Ensure Quality & Compliance

  • Maintain readiness for surveys and audits

  • Support QAPI initiatives and continuous improvement efforts

  • Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to all regulations

Communicate & Collaborate

  • Serve as a key link between staff, leadership, residents, and families

  • Participate in care plan meetings and interdisciplinary collaboration

Qualification

  • Active RN license (in good standing)

  • BSN preferred; ADN with relevant experience considered

  • 2–3 years of long-term care experience (leadership preferred)

  • Infection Prevention (IP) certification required

  • Knowledge of CMS/OBRA regulations

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

  • EMR proficiency and current CPR/BLS certification
