RN Registered Nurse Risk Manager Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough investigations and risk assessments related to patient safety and quality of care

  • Develop and implement evidence-based policies and procedures to mitigate risk and improve patient outcomes

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify and address areas of risk and vulnerability

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and regulatory compliance efforts

  • Provide education and training to staff on risk management principles and best practices

  • Conduct regular rounds to identify potential risks and areas for improvement

  • Analyze data and provide recommendations for process improvements

RN Registered Nurse Risk Manager Requirements:

  • Current RN license in the State of New York
