As the assigned RN for a student in an 18-21 job transition program, you’ll play a pivotal role both at the school and out in the community—visiting multiple job sites where students develop practical, real-world skills.
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in New Jersey
- Previous experience as a School RN or in pediatric/adolescent care preferred
- Experience with seizure disorders and medication administration
- Ability to work onsite and travel within the community
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 medical support for a student enrolled in a job transition program
- Administer and carry medications as needed
- Monitor and respond to the medical needs associated with seizure disorder
- Accompany student to various job sites throughout the community
- Collaborate with school staff, program coordinators, and healthcare providers to ensure student safety and well-being
