As the assigned RN for a student in an 18-21 job transition program, you’ll play a pivotal role both at the school and out in the community—visiting multiple job sites where students develop practical, real-world skills.

Qualifications:

Valid RN license in New Jersey
Previous experience as a School RN or in pediatric/adolescent care preferred
Experience with seizure disorders and medication administration
Ability to work onsite and travel within the community
Strong communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 medical support for a student enrolled in a job transition program
Administer and carry medications as needed
Monitor and respond to the medical needs associated with seizure disorder
Accompany student to various job sites throughout the community
Collaborate with school staff, program coordinators, and healthcare providers to ensure student safety and well-being
