Central Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse Manager to join our team at Central Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. As an RN Unit Manager, you will play a vital role in planning, organizing, developing and supervising the nursing activities during the day shift managing a 40-bed LTC unit. Qualifications:

1. Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, College or University.

2. Prefer minimum of one year experience in LTC facility and 3 years nursing experience.

3. Must possess a current and valid RN license in NYS.

4. Must be able to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies and the general public.

5. Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and willingness to work harmoniously with personnel.

Duties:

Ensure that the highest degree of quality patient care is maintained
Ensure that a safe and effective patient care environment is maintained at all times
Supervise and monitor the activities of nursing staff, including authorization of overtime and reassigning employees as needed
Assist in planning, organizing, directing, supervising and evaluating all nursing services provided in the facility to achieve desired clinical outcomes
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and facility policies and procedures
Complete hourly rounds of the facility to ensure compliance
Receive and handle family and resident complaints
Treat all residents, visitors, and staff with courtesy and dignity

Requirements:

Current NYS RN Licensure
Minimum one year of experience in Long-Term Care or medical/surgical settings (preferred)
