Desired Qualifications & Experience:

Current RN or LPN/LVN license in Illinois is required
Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
Strong background supporting students with complex medical needs (developmental delay, seizure disorders, G-tube care)
Comfortable providing care for wheelchair-bound students
Able and willing to ride the bus with the student daily
CPR certification and knowledge of emergency protocols
Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver continuous 1:1 nursing care for the student throughout the school day and during bus rides
Monitor and manage medical equipment, including G-tube feeds
Administer prescribed medications and respond promptly to any medical emergencies
Collaborate with educational staff, therapists, and families to support the students care plan
Document observations, interventions, and health updates accurately
Provide supportive care respecting student dignity and privacy
