Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Illinois RN or LPN/LVN license, with unrestricted status
  • Previous experience in pediatric nursing, preferably in schools or 1:1 settings
  • Familiarity with seizure management, G-tube care, and supporting students with developmental delays
  • Comfort working with wheelchair-bound and nonverbal children
  • Reliable, compassionate, and collaborative communication style

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 nursing care for a student with developmental delay, seizure disorder, cortical visual impairment, dysautonomia, and G-tube dependency
  • Attend to all student healthcare needs throughout the school day, including bus transport
  • Monitor for changes in health status and communicate promptly with school and family
  • Maintain accurate records and collaborate with the broader care team to ensure comprehensive support
