Job Responsibilities

  • Provides patient education directly or through delegation.
  • Assures psychosocial needs are addressed.
  • Assists with utilization/health management facilitating discharges.
  • Participates in activities to support Network strategic objectives.
  • Displays competency for the Registered Nurse role as evidenced in the annual performance review and departmental skill validations.

Requirements

Education:  Associate’s degree (A.D.N.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, with a BSN preferred, or graduate from an accredited RN program; and zero to years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Licensure/Certification/Registration:    

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Illinois.
  • BLS certification required. ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certification may be required depending on department
