Position Overview:
Central Consolidated School District is seeking 2 qualified School Registered Nurses (RNs) to support student health services for the 20262027 school year. This onsite role involves providing comprehensive nursing services, supporting student wellness, and collaborating closely with staff, families, and community providers. Specific school placement within the district is still to be determined.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform responsible and complex duties related to school health policies and procedures
Handle confidential, sensitive, and potentially controversial information with professionalism and discretion
Participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the school health program in accordance with New Mexico regulations
Advocate for student health needs and rights within the educational setting
Provide health services utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation
Identify social, physical, and psychological health concerns that may impact student learning
Facilitate communication between students, families, school staff, medical providers, and community resources

Requirements (Non-Negotiable):
Associates degree, Bachelors degree, or higher in Nursing
Current Registered Nurse license issued by the New Mexico Board of Nursing
Current Professional School Nurse License issued by the State of New Mexico
