Job Title: School Registered Nurse (RN) Client: Central Consolidated School District Location: TBD Assignment Dates: August 6, 2026 May 27, 2027 Schedule: 37.5 hours per week Onsite only Openings: 2 School RNs Needed Position Overview: Central Consolidated School District is seeking 2 qualified School Registered Nurses (RNs) to support student health services for the 20262027 school year. This onsite role involves providing comprehensive nursing services, supporting student wellness, and collaborating closely with staff, families, and community providers. Specific school placement within the district is still to be determined. Key Responsibilities: Perform responsible and complex duties related to school health policies and procedures Handle confidential, sensitive, and potentially controversial information with professionalism and discretion Participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the school health program in accordance with New Mexico regulations Advocate for student health needs and rights within the educational setting Provide health services utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation Identify social, physical, and psychological health concerns that may impact student learning Facilitate communication between students, families, school staff, medical providers, and community resources Requirements (Non-Negotiable): Associates degree, Bachelors degree, or higher in Nursing Current Registered Nurse license issued by the New Mexico Board of Nursing Current Professional School Nurse License issued by the State of New Mexico Additional Details: District placement/site assignment is TBD Onsite services only no virtual option available Compensation details to be discussed If you know qualified School RNs interested in supporting student health services within a collaborative district environment, please send updated resumes and availability.

School Registered Nurse (RN) District Placement Location: Shiprock, NM Area (Central Consolidated School District) Position Type: Full-Time, Contract Term: August 6, 2026 May 27, 2027 Openings: 2 Positions Available Position Overview We are looking for two dedicated Registered Nurses to join the school health team in the Shiprock area for the 2026-2027 academic year. In this role, you won't just be providing clinical care; you will be a key advocate for student health, helping to shape and implement health policies that ensure a safe learning environment for all students. Key Responsibilities Comprehensive Nursing Care: Use the nursing process (assessment, planning, and evaluation) to address students' social, physical, and psychological health factors. Program Leadership: Participate in the planning and evaluation of district health programs in strict accordance with New Mexico state regulations. Advocacy & Communication: Act as a bridge between students, families, medical providers, and school staff to ensure health needs are met with discretion and sensitivity. Case Management: Handle confidential information regarding student health records and school health policies with the highest level of professional ethics. School Certification: Must possess (or be eligible for) a Professional School Nurse License issued by the State of New Mexico.
