Responsibilities include patient assessment, triage, treatment coordination, clinical documentation, patient education and advocacy, care planning, and facilitation of resources. The role utilizes nursing best practices to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care. The Navigator also participates in quality improvement initiatives, protocol development, annual competencies, EMR management, compliance reviews, and training of new staff.
