What You’ll Be Doing:
The RN Director of Nursing works in concert with the Administrator and directs the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care per current Federal, State, and facilities standards, guidelines, and regulations. In the absence of the Administrator, assumes the responsibility for center operations. The Director of Nursing RN conducts the nursing process - assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation - under the State's Nurse Practice Act of Registered Nurse licensure scope.N Leadership, RN Leader, Nurse Manager, RN Manager, Nurse Director, RN Director, DON, Director of Nursing
Requirements:
Education: Bachelors degree in Nursing preferred.
Licenses/Certification: Registered RN Licensed Nurse with a current license in the District of Columbia.
Experience: Five years in long-term or acute healthcare preferred. At least 2 years nursing supervisory experience required.
