This is a part-time, contract role beginning July 1, 2026, and concluding July 31, 2026. Each opening requires 20 hours per week, with four positions running from 8:30AM to 12:30PM, and an additional night school nurse position (hours to be determined). The assignment is fully onsite, providing district-wide support and hands-on care in various school settings located near Orange, NJ.

Preferred candidates bring prior school-based nursing experience (beyond clinical roles), possess active New Jersey RN licensure and relevant school nurse certifications, and can start quickly. What youll need:

Active New Jersey RN license and valid NJ school nurse certification
Demonstrated school-based nursing experience (school setting required)
Fingerprinting clearance (both agency and district requirements)
Recent TB test and physical examination
Confidence providing care across diverse school populations
Availability for an in-person and/or virtual (Zoom) interview
Ability to fulfill the entire contract term onsite
