Sunbelt Staffing is hiring dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for full-time school-based opportunities throughout Tampa, Florida and surrounding areas for the 20262027 school year.

We are seeking professionals who are passionate about student care and interested in working in a rewarding educational setting. Opportunities may include supporting students in a school health room, providing 1:1 nursing services, and accompanying students during transportation as a bus-riding nurse.

Position Details

  • Pay Rate: $24$26 per hour
  • Setting: School Health Room, 1:1 Student Support with bus riding

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care and health-related support to assigned students throughout the school day.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as directed by physician orders and care plans.
  • Monitor student health conditions and communicate updates with families, school staff, and healthcare providers.
  • Support student safety and medical needs during classroom activities and transportation assignments when applicable.

Qualifications

  • Active Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Pediatric, school-based, or home health experience preferred
