Qualifications:

Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license (required; resumes and certifications must accompany your application)
Demonstrated previous school nursing experience (required)
Must be available during school hours: 7:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver first aid, illness, emergency, and routine health care aligned with professional standards and school/state policies
Administer and document medications; assure secure storage
Support wellness initiatives and district health projects (e.g., allergy/asthma plans)
Assist in maintaining health office operations alongside Certified School Nurse and aides
Monitor and report AED maintenance
Maintain meticulous medical records and manage regulatory compliance
Serve as a mandated reporter for suspected abuse/neglect
