Step into a pivotal role supporting the health and wellness of students across multiple K-12 campuses in the Lawrence, MA area. This full-time contract opportunity offers an engaging floater nurse position, where your day-to-day will be dynamic as you provide vital coverage wherever it is needed most. The assignment begins August 17, 2026, and runs through June 18, 2027, with a consistent weekly schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, for a total of 40 hours onsite each week.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Active and valid Massachusetts LPN or RN license required
Previous school-based nursing experience is essential
Ability to confidently support students in grades K-12
Comfortable commuting between campuses (all within a six-mile radius)
Reliable personal transportation is a must
Complete fingerprinting and CORI background check prior to starting
Flexibility and adaptability in a floater nurse capacity
Commitment to the schedule; no accommodations for alternate hours

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive routine and emergency nursing care to students and staff
Collaborate with school personnel to promote student health and safety
Administer medications and manage chronic conditions in compliance with policies
Ensure accurate health documentation across all assigned locations
Provide health education and support for students and staff as needed
