Job Description
This is a 10 hour day shift 9:00-19:30 working at PCMB with the ability to float to other campuses
Utilizes the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide safe, therapeutic care. Functions as a member of the interdisciplinary and nursing teams; carries out established nursing procedures and performs related duties as required; performs nursing care for patients with more complex needs with assistance and supervision. Assists with the management of patient care administered by other members of the nursing team.
The RN functions as a member of the interdisciplinary team caring for patients who are undergoing procedures or exams in the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at any Radiology site. The RN carries out established nursing procedures to prepare patients prior to Radiologic procedures, during the procedure, and following the procedure. The RN assists with the management of patient care during moderate sedation and anesthesia cases.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years of recent Radiology nursing experience
- The ability to wear lead apron when required.
- Moderate Sedation competency required.
- This position requires flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations.
- Certification in Radiology Imaging Nursing preferred
- 2 years experience in either IR, ICU, ED, PACU, or procedural area.
- BSN
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.
- Current healthcare provider CPR (BLS) and ACLS
- PALS required for Mission Bay Pediatric Radiology
