Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Sunnyvale, CA

$16.25 - $45 / hour

This contract opportunity offers flexibility, with the potential for either a part-time schedule (22.5 hours weekly) or a full-time, extended schedule (30 hours per week), serving students with complex medical needs in an itinerant capacity. Youll provide essential one-on-one care to medically fragile students, rotating between campuses and working closely with both staff and families.

Key Qualifications:

  • Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credentials required
  • Strong background in school nursing, with previous experience supporting students in educational settings
  • Expertise in managing gastronomy and bladder care, diabetes management (CGM, carb counting), and response to hypo/hyperglycemia
  • Ability to administer medications, including EpiPens and Benadryl, and experience with ASD/developmental delays
  • Comfortable working with students ages 4 to 22 years with diverse health needs
  • Bilingual Spanish skills are an asset, though not required
  • Reliable transportation for itinerant travel between campuses
