School Registered Nurse (RN) in Waukesha, WI

As a contract nurse, you will work 1:1 with a student at a single school site, providing essential care for the academic term through June 15, 2027. Key Qualifications:

• Active WI RN or LPN license required
• Current CPR and AED certification
• Minimum of one years experience in pediatric settings strongly preferred
• Must have practiced as an RN or LPN in the past two years, or completed a refresher within the last year
• Comfortable or certified in ventilator and tracheostomy care
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds to support student needs
• Valid Wisconsin drivers license
• Commitment to upholding safety, confidentiality, and best practices in student care

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct, 1:1 nursing care to a designated student throughout the school day
• Monitor and manage vent/trach equipment and respond to emergencies
• Facilitate medication administration, treatments, and daily health monitoring
• Serve as a key advocate for your students well-being, partnering with school staff and families
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in line with school policies
• Support inclusion and participation for the student within the classroom environment
