We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a 1:1 school-based position supporting an elementary-aged student with medical care needs.

Position Details:

  • Location: Kankakee, IL
  • Schedule: 10:30 AM3:50 PM
  • Setting: 1 school location
  • Student: Elementary-aged
  • Role: 1:1 nursing support
  • Bus Riding: Position includes riding the school bus with the student

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 nursing care and support throughout the school day
  • Assist the student in the classroom with educational activities and tasks
  • Provide paraprofessional support in addition to nursing duties
  • Monitor and manage the student's medical needs
  • Accompany the student on the school bus

Requirements:

  • Active RN license
  • Pediatric or school-based experience preferred
  • Must be comfortable performing both nursing and paraprofessional duties
  • Must be comfortable with bus riding responsibilities
