School Registered Nurse | Charlestown, New Hampshire

Key Qualifications:

  • Comfortable administering medications and providing direct medical treatment to students as needed
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with school staff, students, and families

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and address current health needs of the student population
  • Maintain comprehensive health records for all students
  • Administer medication and provide first aid or other medical treatments per district protocols
  • Promote a safe, healthy learning environment for elementary-aged children
  • Collaborate with school administration, educators, and any supporting staff (such as paras, CNAs, or LPNs, as provided)
  • Respond to on-site medical situations and implement care plans
  • Support compliance with all school-specific and state health requirements

Participates in interdisciplinary discharge planning. Ensures patient environment is safe and free from hazards.
