Department: Interventional Radiology PACU Work Hours: PT position, 10 hour days, no holidays or weekends.
On call for extended hours for PACU and will be trained to assist with on call for IR procedure room. Must be flexible to cover schedule and patient volume

Provides professional nursing care practicing legal nursing responsibilities as indicated by the Nurse Practice Act.

 

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing, current Pennsylvania licensure, other state licensure as required. Basic Cardiac Life Support. Advanced Cardiac Life Support.

Two years current Interventional Radiology experience. In the absence of applicants with two years current IR, will accept two years of Critical Care or current ED experience.

Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment. 

 

Preferred

Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing. Two years of nursing experience and two years of IR PACU experience. Certification in the posted specialty area.

REGISTERED NURSE RN - OPERATING ROOM

Job Summary : Responsible for Delivering peri-operative care by using the nursing process to perform rapid assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation of care to the surgical patient. The Registered Nurse's responsibilities include but are not limited to utilization of the nursing process in the provision of care, excellent customer service skills and communication skills, flexibility, quality improvement activities and professional growth. The Registered Nurse will support the patients and families physical and emotional health. Education ⚬ Minimum: Graduate of a Registered Nurse Program ⚬ Preferred: Bachelor Degree in Nursing Registration/Certification/Licensure : Current PA RN license, Healthcare Provider CPR and Act 33/73 clearances Experience ⚬ Minimum: Clinical rotation through educational program. ⚬ Preferred: One year Operating Room experience or open heart experience. Prior scrub experience, case set up, and ability to assist physician, while maintaining aseptic technique.
