Desired Qualifications:

Active RN license in New Jersey (unencumbered)
Previous experience in a school setting preferred, or pediatric/family practice background
Strong assessment, triage, and documentation abilities
Familiarity with IEP/504 healthcare plans and emergency care protocols
Excellent interpersonal skills for engaging with students, families, and staff
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
CPR/BLS certification required

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver nursing care and support to K-12 students throughout the school day
Respond promptly to student health needs including illness, injury, and ongoing conditions
Administer medication and treatments in accordance with physician orders
Maintain accurate student health records and document all care provided
Monitor for contagious illnesses and follow protocols to prevent outbreaks
Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and support staff
Provide health education to students and participate in wellness initiatives
Assist with screenings (vision, hearing, scoliosis) and immunization compliance
Support health plans for students with diabetes, allergies, asthma, epilepsy, and other conditions
