Salary

Overview

Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) – PediatricsPediatric Specialty Care at Philadelphia | Philadelphia, PA$100,000 – $120,000 | Full-Time | Days, Mon–Fri + shared on-call

Kids on ventilators don't need an average nursing team. They need a great one. Help us build it.

At PSC Philadelphia, our nurses care for medically fragile children with trachs, vents and feeding tubes, around the clock, in a home-like setting. We're a 50-bed community, and we're growing with an expansion project just around the corner.

We're looking for an ADON who wants to lead, not just manage.

A team on the rise. Help us finish the turnaround.

We'll be straight with you: PSC Philadelphia has been through real change. Over the past year we've raised the bar on who we hire and who stays, and it's working. Retention is improving, new hires are a better fit, and the nurses who remain are committed to these kids.

The momentum is real, and there's more work to do. That's where you come in. The right ADON will lock in the gains: setting clear expectations, coaching consistently, recognizing great work and holding the line on standards. You'll partner with a Director of Nursing who's ready for that kind of leader, and you'll shape the team as we expand.

If you've ever wanted to say "I helped build that," this is the role.

You're our ADON if you:

  • Lead from the unit, not the office
  • Say the hard thing kindly, and then follow through and hold teammates (and yourself) accountable
  • Stay steady when a shift gets tough
  • Measure success in kids who thrive and nurses who stay

What you get:

  • $100K–$120K, based on pediatric and leadership experience
  • Health, dental and vision | 401(k) | PTO
  • A real path to Director of Nursing and Nursing Leadership positions across our enterpirse - to include both our Pediatric and Skilled Nursing network.
  • Tuition Reimbursement Program
  • Work that matters every single day

Bring your pediatric expertise. Set the standard. Apply today.

  • Hold standards: Coach staff, address performance concerns promptly and fairly, and follow through on accountability
  • Improve quality: Use audits, incident reviews and outcomes to drive improvement in infection prevention, documentation and regulatory readiness
  • Build trust: Be a visible, approachable leader for staff, families and interdisciplinary partners, and resolve concerns professionally
  • Lead with the DON: Step in for the Director of Nursing when needed and share in leadership on-call
