Job Type Full-Time/Part-Time/Per Diem Hours Days/Nights as needed Key Responsibilities Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Assist with mobility and transfers, including the use of assistive devices. Prepare and serve meals and assist with feeding as needed. Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment. Provide medication reminders as prescribed. Transport and/or accompany clients on errands and/or appointments. Engage clients in meaningful activities and provide companionship. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals. Document and report any changes in clients’ condition or needs. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or training is strongly preferred. Minimum 1 year experience in a caregiving facility or home care role. Ability to provide personal care with dignity and respect. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. English proficiency is required. Reliable, compassionate, and patient with a strong work ethic. Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting and moving over 50 pounds without assistance and assisting with mobility. Special skills and previous experience with Hoyer Lifts, Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care are strongly encouraged. Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation. Pass a background check and other relevant checks. Basic Cardiac Life Support certificate must be obtained within 14 days of employment start date. Caregiver Job Duties Our caregivers support their clients in activities of daily living such as (but not limited to): Household chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.) Cooking and/or serving meals Helping clients bathe, dress, and groom Providing companionship through daily activities and hobbies Driving clients (as needed) to the store or appointments Monitoring and reporting on their condition Additional Information Our hiring process is fast and simple! Once you have completed onboarding, orientation, and training, you can start working with clients! Washington only – If you do not have a current HCA or CNA license, you will be required to enroll in our HCA training program we offer (due to state requirements). You will be required to complete the training within 120 days. Oregon only – If you have not previously completed the state-required 8-hour Home Care Pulse caregiver training, you will be required to complete the training along with the nurse-led medication training before you can work with clients.
