Qualifications: Enjoy working with our senior population Be a caring, empathetic, compassionate and reliable individual Understand the importance of our services to our seniors Have a positive attitude and be dedicated to our SHS mission High level of emotional intelligence Ability to follow detailed instructions to execute our care plan Maturity to deal effectively with the demands of the job Maintain the highest standards of customer service and professionalism set by SHS Be proactive to find other ways to help our seniors once all tasks have been completed Companionship and Homemaker Duties may include: Provide Companionship Assist with Light Housekeeping such as laundry, vacuuming, washing dishes, etc… Shopping and Errands Meal Preparation Medication Reminders Pet Care Light Yard Work Light Handyman Services Overnight Supervision Incidental Transportation to doctor’s appointments, family, or their favorite restaurant Personal Care Duties may include: Assist with Dressing Assist with Feeding Assist with Showering / Bathing Mobility Assistance Assist with Toileting / Incontinence Memory Care Other Responsibilities: Arrive on Time for all Services Caregivers may be contacted by management outside of standard office hours when coverage is needed for open shifts. Maintain documentation of all services provided Record and report changes in the client’s physical condition, behavior, or appearance to our office staff Communicate regularly and proactively with our office staff Participate in relevant in-service opportunities and other informational meeting when possible Clock in and out using our care management system Benefits: $16 per hour Flexible schedule Earn extra income Lasting relationships
