Job Description Harborview - Burn and Plastic Surgery has an outstanding opportunity for a Medical Assistant - Certified (MA-C). WORK SCHEDULE Full-time, 100% FTE (40 hours per week) Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm Day Shift Department Description The Burn and Plastic Surgery Clinics at Harborview Medical Center offer outpatient care for adults and children with small acute burns and other acute and chronic wounds, as well as plastic reconstructive injuries. We treat a variety of conditions, including traumatic injuries to the face and jaw, skin disorders with skin loss, lacerations, pressure sores, ulcers, keloids, congenital defects, skin tumors, nerve/tendon injuries and amputations. Patients receive wound care, dressing changes and outpatient physical therapy, including scar control. Our care team includes board-certified burn surgeons, plastic surgeons, registered nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, clinical psychologists, social workers and other medical professionals. FTE: .75 Shift: Day Schedule: Clinic hours Position Summary The Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) is an integral part of the Physician/Advanced Practice Provider (APP) office team working under the direction and supervision of a licensed healthcare practitioner.
