Assist the Chief Department Administrator (CDA) with operational and financial tracking and management. Assess and provide input on matters of commodity and equipment procurement and utilization. Assist CRNA leadership as delegated by Chief CRNA. Maintain current knowledge of Joint Commission Standards (TJC), American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) and American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) standards, and all state and federal regulations and evaluate/assure compliance. Provide administrative and functional supervision over CRNA staff. Professionally assist the Chief CRNA in the supervision and management of the CRNAs, assist with daily workforce supervision and direction, as delegated. Provide functional and administrative oversight to the CRNA charge in addition to supporting the CRNA charge function. Manage CRNA PTO processes in accordance with guidelines from the Health System, the Clinical Director UH/CVC/PAV ORs and the collective bargaining agreement. Participate in the selection, evaluation, counseling, coaching and/or mentor of the aforementioned personnel. Clinical time determined in collaboration with the Chief CRNA.
