What does the Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) do? Maintains accurate documentation of assigned patient care and treatments provided. Applies knowledge of reimbursement procedures and charge capture. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have the following background and experience: Education/Training Level I Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education, BSN preferred. RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Must maintain continuing education requirements. This position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others who are under their direction.
