Responsibilities: Planning, overseeing, and executing nursing services for residents while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations . Collaborating with the Nursing Director to strategize nursing service operations and emergency support provisions for shifts. Adjusting care plans in collaboration with medical staff to address emergency medical needs . Ensuring adequate relief staff availability before leaving the facility and notifying residents' personal physicians in case of significant changes in their condition or immediate medical care needs . Handle admission of new residents . Overseeing and guiding Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) in delivering quality care . RN Supervisor Responsibilities Include: Supervise all nursing care in the facility Assess residents as needed Document in residents medical record as needed Admit/readmit residents Ensure that a safe environment is maintained Assist unit nurses as needed Interact with facility physicians as needed Any other tasks as assigned by the DNS RN Supervisor Qualifications/Requirements: Current NYS RN (Registered Nurse) license. Experience preferred. Working knowledge of EMR and proficient in documentation. Current CPR certification. Must be a compassionate and reliable team player.
