NJ Licensed as Certified Home Health Aide a must 2-step PPD Physical within the last 12 months MMR Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job. Reliable transportation Responsibilities of the Certified Home Health Aide- Certified Home Health Aides help patients in a variety of ways. Certified Home Health Aides must record and report this data as medically necessary. Certified Home Health Aides can also help patients with their daily functions, such as dressing or taking a bath. They can assist with planning for doctor's appointments, other meetings and may organize transportation for them. As a Certified Home Health Aide you will be able to do facility work, hourly as well as live in. If unable to perform a certain task, report to the Case Manager immediately. 2. Providing patient and family with positive communication techniques, within realm of ethical and respectful care, including confidentiality. 3. Giving personal care including baths, back rubs, oral hygiene, shampoos and changing bed linen as often as assigned. 4. The Hospice Aide assists in dressing and undressing patients as assigned. 5. Respectful of patient and family/caregiver environment and patient's personal needs. Must have both a CNA and HHA license
