Now hiring experienced Home Health Aides (HHA), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) in East Orlando and surrounding areas. Available Shifts: · 4-hour shifts · 6-hour shifts · 12-hour shifts · Day, evening, and weekend shifts available · Service Area: East Orlando, FL and surrounding areas Pay: $16 – $18 per hour, based on experience, case needs, and level of care required Caregiver Responsibilities: · Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming · Assist with Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs): meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, errands · Provide companionship and emotional support · Support clients with Alzheimer’s and Dementia care · Accompany clients to medical appointments and outings · Provide hands-on personal care to ensure safety and comfort · Must be able to safely assist clients with mobility, including transfers, repositioning, and ambulation Caregiver Requirements: · HHA Certificate (40-hour) or CNA License · Valid CPR Certification (AHA or Red Cross approved) · Alzheimer’s / ADRD Training compliant with DOEA guidelines · Minimum of 2 years of caregiving or home care experience · Strong communication with office staff for scheduling and care coordination · Must be dependable, punctual, and committed to assigned shifts · Passion for helping seniors and individuals in need Employment Requirements: · Must be authorized to work in the United States (I-9 verification) · Must provide valid identification and employment documents · Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if required) Physical Requirements: · Ability to assist with mobility, transfers, and standing for extended periods Level 2 Background Screening Requirement: This position requires successful completion of a Level 2 background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse. Preparing or serving meals to patients according to the home health plan of care. e. Directing patients in simple prescribed exercises or in the use of braces or artificial limbs. f. Checking patients' pulse, temperature, and respiration. g. Changing clean dressings. h. Performing a variety of duties as outlined in the home health plan of care. 4. Maintains records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discusses observations with supervisor or professional according to policy. 5. Observes, documents, and reports changes in client status or expectations of services promptly to a supervisor or professional according to policy. 6. Recognizes emergency situations and implements interventions according to appropriate departmental procedures and policies. 7. Renders services in accordance with the written plan of care as documented by the appropriate professional. Standard Staffing Level Responsibilities: 1. Ability to listen and give full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times. 5. Ability to develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with patients, coworkers, and supervisors. 6. Ability to consistently be responsible, compassionate, patient, emotionally stable, and cheerful with patients, caregivers, and other professionals. 7. Ability to be tactful, honest, and respectful of patients and family members in private homes. Unless certification, licensure or registration is required, an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed in this description may be substituted for the above requirements.
