Possess a valid driver’s license and insured automobile Responsibilities of the Certified Home Health Aide- Certified Home Health Aides help patients in a variety of ways which may include taking their vital sign or giving them medication under a nurses direction. They must record and report this data as medically necessary. Certified Home Health Aides also can help patients with their daily functions, such as dressing or taking a bath. They can assist with planning for doctor's appointments, other meetings and may organize transportation for them. Registered nurses / Licensed Vocational nurse shall have a minimum of one (1) year of experience as a professional nurse within the last three (3) years; OR have a baccalaureate degree in nursing from a program accredited by the National League of Nursing and a current RN / LVN license. Minimum of two (2) years’ experience, at least one of which is in the area of public health, home care, or hospice nursing is preferred. 4. Management experience not required.
