Duties Description The RN 1 serves as a member of the interdisciplinary team performing various nursing duties, including coordinating and monitoring all aspects of medical care for residents. Duties And Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To Provide direct nursing care to residents, including comprehensive nursing assessments, administering medications, implementing physician’s treatment orders, transcribing orders, and collecting specimens for laboratory analysis or culture. Acts as a liaison to community providers to ensure continuity of care, follow up with community providers, when necessary, advocate for resident’s needs. Participate in discharge planning by securing community appointments to ensure continuity of care. Prepare and maintain accurate and detailed reports electronically using Excel and or Word. Duties Description The Registered Nurse 1 (RN1) ensures the medical/nursing needs of our individuals living at Old Farms and Hillis Terrace IRAS and will be based out of Old Farms IRA. Old Farms IRA which currently accommodates five individuals with various medical and behavioral needs. Hillis Terrace similarly serves five individuals with diverse medical and behavioral requirements. Key responsibilities include reviewing patient records, processing incident reports when necessary, and collaborating with oversight and provider agencies concerning documentation, procedures, and follow-up actions.
