About this Job: General Summary of Position Professional care provider who assesses plans implements and evaluates the nursing care of patients from admission through discharge. Minimal Qualifications Education Associate's degree in Nursing required Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred If prepared at the associate degree in nursing level required to enroll in a BSN program within 12 months of hire date and completion within 4 years of hire date Experience 1-2 years RN experience required Licenses and Certifications RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state or jurisdiction of the facility seeking employment Upon Hire required and CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (includes BLS) for healthcare providers from either the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Upon Hire required and C-EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring Perinatal nurses (labor and delivery antepartum antenatal testing) must obtain certification in Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) from the National Certification within 12 months from date of hire. About this Job: General Summary of Position The incumbent in this position functions as a consultant practitioner and educator for patients staff and physicians concerning problems with in patients or out patients with ostomies fistulas/draining wounds pressure wounds and incontinence care.
