Job Description We are searching for Staff Nurses for our NICU 2 Team! We are looking for someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position you’ll provide quality nursing care to patients by assessing, planning, educating, implementing, and evaluating age appropriate care in a manner that incorporates family-centered principles and cost-effective care. NURSING ASSISTANT PURPOSE: The purpose of this position is to provide direct care to residents, under the supervision of a licensed nurse, in accordance with the facility policies and procedures and report resident needs and concerns to a licensed nurse. The Experienced Clinical Nurse at MD Anderson Cancer Center manages patient outcomes by providing, coordinating and supporting clinical aspects of direct patient care across the continuum of care. This position is not eligible for the residency program. Experience Preferred: Must have at least one year of clinical nursing experience in an acute care setting. Licenses/Certification Required: Current State of Texas Professional Nursing license (RN). Licenses/Certification Preferred: Certification in oncology or other nursing specialty. American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) or PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification as required by patient care area.
