Job Description This position offers the opportunity to work in the clinic and infusion areas within a thriving community cancer practice. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS This position requires flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations. All candidates must meet at least one of the following criteria: Certificate of training or graduation from an accredited MA, Home Health Aide, PCA, CNA, dental or paramedic program or college degree in a related field such as community health, infectious disease, public health or health education and 6 months of relevant experience 1 year of relevant experience as a Medical Assistant in a hospital or medical practice Knowledge and abilities essential to the successful performance of the duties assigned to the position. Ability to communicate effectively, both directly and over the phone. Able to meet physical requirements. This position requires flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Health locations. Job Description This is a 8 hour day shift: 08:30-17:00 working at Mount Zion with the ability to float to other campuses Utilizes the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide safe, therapeutic care.
