Establish a facility-wide system for the prevention, identification, investigation, and control of infections of residents, staff, and visitors. This will include surveillance designed to identify possible communicable disease or infections before they spread. Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date records of on-going staff development programs for all personnel within facility. Works closely with department heads to assess the on-going learning needs of employees to meet the needs of the residents and the facility.
