Position Summary: The Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) provides comprehensive women’s healthcare with a focus on pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum care, and gynecological services. Job Specification Minimum Education Required Must be a graduate of an accredited program of professional nursing and possess a current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Pennsylvania. Minimum Experience Required Must possess a minimum of two - three years of diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization lab experience preferred. Also consider Emergency Department experience and/or Intensive Care/Critical Care in a Tertiary facility Licensure/Certification Required: Possess a current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Pennsylvania Must possess current BLS required or must obtained within one month of hire. ACLS certification and dysrhythmia required (or must obtain within 6 months). NIHSS certification (obtain within 6 months). Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) preferred. Skills Must be proficient in interpreting EKG and hemodynamic pressure tracings, pacemakers, and related equipment, ability to use radiographic equipment and handle patients who present in a variety of conditions. Experience in electric countershock techniques. Ability to function as a team member. Ability to demonstrate the principles of surgical asepsis.
