THR Urine Drug Collector training (Maintained every 5 years and required prior to providing independent care) within 30 days of hire Required What You Will Do It is the role of the Concierge to guide consumers and their "secondary guests" through the entire urgent care visit to enhance the consumer experience by maximizing throughput and delivering clinical excellence. The Concierge is responsible for a variety of clinical functions, including but not limited to assisting the provider with care and treatment, laboratory testing, x-ray examinations, and other duties. The Concierge also performs patient registration, collection of payments, rooming, and patient discharge. All Concierges are expected to maintain competency and perform in all assigned positions on a rotating basis. This position is a vital part of the urgent care team that works under the direction of the Site Manager and works closely with the provider and other clinical staff. Must demonstrate discretion; good judgment; diplomacy; decision-making; and a customer service attitude. Collects identification and payor related documentation, conducts registration using EPIC workflow. Measures and documents vitals and communicates the resulting data to the consumer and provider, including temperature, pulse, oxygen saturation, respiration, blood pressure, height, weight, and pain level. Documents chief complaint, allergies, health history, and current medications accurately in EPIC for review by provider. Performs and documents laboratory testing and collections per provider orders and/or standard operating procedures, to include venipuncture with prior venipuncture competency check-off. Administers and documents oral and intramuscular medication using the appropriate medication verification workflow. If a medical assistant, then may perform injections with the appropriate competency checkoff Assists provider with procedures to include, but not limited to maintaining sterile field, laceration repair, I&D, and application of ortho-goods and assists with ortho-glass application. Performs diagnostic x-rays and documents completion of radiology examinations within the licensed scope of practice as ordered and verified by the provider. Performs x-rays following established protocols and utilizes appropriate exposure factors for care and safety. Ensures images and applicable communication are transferred to radiology group for overread and assures all images have a report on file in the medical record. Behave in a professional and empathetic manner to build trust, comfort, understanding, and relationships with consumers and secondary guest(s) and in-line with patient experience standards. Welcomes the consumer and secondary guest(s) to the center (including eye contact, smile, greeting, and personal introduction) and inquires about the purpose and nature of the visit. Recognizes and notifies provider immediately of emergent patients, performs BLS, provides oxygen administration, and assists provider with emergency care. Schedules primary care referrals for consumers Maintains office supplies, medical supplies, and medications at appropriate par levels as assigned. Experience Caregiver Immediate Opening – Stroke Survivor Client Schedule: Day Shift Part-Time Monday - Friday 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm and/or Saturday - Sunday 8:30 - 10:30 am, 12:30 - 2:30 pm and 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm Position Summary: Seeking an experienced caregiver for a female stroke survivor in The Colony, TX. Client requires assistance with transfers, bathing, dressing, meal prep, medication reminders, and companionship. Must be comfortable assisting with mobility using a wheelchair. Prior stroke or rehabilitation care experience preferred. Primary Responsibilities: • Assist client with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and hygiene. • Assist with transfers, repositioning, wheelchair support, and mobility assistance using proper body mechanics and safety procedures. • Monitor client for changes in physical condition, behavior, speech, mobility, or cognitive status. • Support communication using verbal cues, communication boards, AAC tablet devices, or speech assistance techniques as needed. • Prepare meals and assist with feeding according to dietary restrictions and swallowing precautions. • Remind and/or assist client with medications as directed by care plan. • Maintain a safe and clean environment to reduce fall risks and promote comfort. • Assist with range-of-motion exercises and encourage participation in therapy-directed activities when instructed. • Provide companionship, emotional support, and respectful social interaction. • Document care provided, incidents, observations, and changes in condition accurately and promptly. • Communicate effectively with family members, nurses, therapists, and supervisors regarding client needs and concerns. • Follow infection control procedures, emergency protocols, and client confidentiality standards. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Experience caring for elderly, disabled, or stroke recovery clients preferred. • Knowledge of stroke-related conditions including mobility limitations, aphasia, paralysis, or swallowing difficulties preferred. • Ability to safely assist with transfers and mobility. • Compassionate, patient, dependable, and attentive demeanor. • Strong communication and observation skills. • CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
