The Paramount at Somers Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking an experienced and motivated RN Supervisor to join our nursing leadership team. As an RN Supervisor, you will oversee nursing operations during your assigned shift, provide clinical leadership, mentor nursing staff, and ensure the highest standards of care for our residents. Responsibilities Supervise and support RNs, LPNs, and CNAs during assigned shifts. Ensure residents receive safe, compassionate, and individualized nursing care. Provide clinical guidance and leadership to the nursing team. Monitor resident conditions and respond appropriately to changes in health status. Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers. Review and maintain accurate clinical documentation. Ensure compliance with CMS, New York State Department of Health, and facility policies. Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to promote positive resident outcomes. Assist with staffing coordination and daily nursing operations. Support quality assurance, infection prevention, and risk management initiatives. Maintain survey readiness and assist during state and federal surveys. Foster a positive, respectful, and collaborative work environment. Qualifications Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New York. Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility, Rehabilitation Center, or Long-Term Care setting preferred. Strong clinical judgment, assessment, and critical thinking skills. Knowledge of long-term care regulations and survey processes. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities. Ability to effectively lead a multidisciplinary nursing team.
