About the Program As part of the Telecare family, La Paz is a 148-bed Gero-Psychiatric Center serving adults age 55 and older in Paramount, CA. The program provides specialized care and support for individuals with complex behavioral health and skilled nursing needs. As Director of Nursing, you will lead nursing operations within this inpatient setting and play a key role in clinical quality, regulatory compliance, staff development, and the delivery of safe, effective care. Shifts Available: This role requires you to work onsite in Paramount, CA Full-Time | DAYS | Shifts: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday – Friday; days and hours could vary as this is an inpatient program. Must be able to participate in the On-Call Rotation. Expected starting wage range is $140,000 - $165,000. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements. POSITION SUMMARY The Director of Nursing (DON) is responsible for activities and functions related to the administration of member care systems and member care in nursing areas and departments. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Demonstrates the Telecare mission, purpose, values and beliefs in everyday language and contact with internal and external stakeholders.
