We have an exciting opportunity for full-time Certified Nursing Assistant's to provide residents with routine nursing care in accordance with established CH policies and procedures in Heritage Manor. Heritage Manor offers four specialized areas of care: Skilled Nursing Care, Dementia Care, Bolger Short-term Rehab and In-patient Hospice. Providing the best care starts with having the best people. A full-time medical director is on staff and coordinates a highly skilled team that includes: On-site physicians, Dietitians, Clinical nurse specialists, Geriatric nurse practitioners, Chaplains, Psychiatrists, Social workers and Physical, Occupational, and Speech therapists. Together, these team members create an individualized care plan for each resident designed to meet their unique needs. Demonstrates an understanding of, and embraces, the mission statement of Christian Health. Schedule: Full Time, Shifts available: 7:00am-3:00pm, 3:00pm-11:00pm,11:00pm -7:00am. Monday - Friday and Every Other Weekend required. Education: High school education required. Valid Certified Nursing Assistant certification required. Competencies: Supports the medical/clinical needs of the resident by transporting and timely preparation for rehabilitation therapy, medical tests, and consultation/physician appointment. Collects timely and accurate specimens, vital signs, weights and measurements. Reports findings to nurse or other appropriate clinicians. Demonstrates receptiveness to new ideas, and responsiveness to constructive criticism. Contributes to the overall care, concern and comfort of all residents on the wings. Assist unit as deemed necessary. Appropriately encourages residents to participate in self-care of ADLs as part of their rehabilitation and/or maintenance of abilities. Assists in the maintenance and enhancement of the residents personal space and environment by making beds, maintaining room temperature, assuring personal preferences of stimulation are offered/supplied i.e.: music, radio, snoezlen, activity box. Assures all equipment, furnishings and space is clean and in good repair. Provides accurate and appropriate feedback, communication and evaluation to resident and family regarding care provided by CNAs. Refers clinical/medical questions to nurse or appropriate clinicians. Follows standard Precautions Guidelines for Infection Control. Reports any communicable or infectious disease to the shift Supervisor. Follows established isolation precautions and procedures. Provides personal care to residents with a focus on resident preferences in regard to how and when care is provided for meal assistance, feeding, washing, bathing, mouth care, dressing, hair care, nail care, shaving and bed/chair positioning. Follows the plan of care in handheld PDA assigned residents. Provides timely and accurate documentation. Helps to improve or maintain resident’s level of functioning and health status through proactive and timely assistance with bowel and bladder functions. Recording intake and output, ambulation, transfer, range of motion, use of assistive devices/splints. Appropriate use of restraints, per policy. Provides comfort to resident throughout the day with a focus on resident preferences, including regular repositioning in bed or chair, changes of clothes or bedding when soiled or wet and pain management through key times rounding and answering call bells within standard time. Checks and documents proper functioning and use of specialty mattress. Assures nurse call bell is always within reach and call bells are answered promptly. Observes and reports all unusual changes, occurrences, including physical or emotional status, functioning, behavior; including falls, skin breakdown, pressure wounds, complaints, grievances and clinical needs. Reviews and updates Personal Care Records. Supports the resident and family during transitions of admission, transfer or discharge including orientation and welcome to unit/room, packing/unpacking of personal belongings. (ESSENTIAL; DAILY) Encourages and assists resident in participation of activities and social programs, i.e.: parties, church services, outdoor programs, snoezlen. Regularly uses resident activity boxes. Offers timely and regular transport to activities. Demonstrates consistent reliability/dependability through attendance and punctuality. Adheres to Christian Health’s Code of Ethical and Legal Behavior, including completion of specific training and educational programs as deemed necessary for the position. Cooperates and contributes to company initiatives as deemed appropriate for increased patient satisfaction. Carries out QAPI roles and responsibilities as assigned in an effort to improve processes involved in health care delivery and resident quality of life. Principal Clinical Informatics Analyst

Overview About the Role Leverages extensive subject matter expertise on clinical systems and knowledge of clinical operations and workflows to coordinate the activities of medical staff in the planning, development, implementation, and support of clinical information systems/solutions to improve the delivery of patient care and hospital operations. Advances efficient and effective patient care by adapting and integrating current hospital processes. Ensures the integration of clinical content across users and/or applications. Ensures that systems are implemented and functioning under the guidance of acceptable University policies and procedures and meet all regulatory requirements. Develops testing strategies according to system build and downstream system requirements. Develops and manages complex projects. Provides work direction and guidance to Analyst and Project Staff as needed. For the purpose of a project or assignment, may report to a Manager or Associate Director for assignments and tasks. Responsibilities What You’ll Do Assists physicians, nurses, and other clinicians with design, implementation, workflow optimization, and issue resolution related to electronic health record (EHR) and other clinical applications. Direct experience with electronic medical records is a plus; prior Epic experience is highly desirable. Must complete certification on Epic application specified by management within 6 months of training. Demonstrates interpersonal skills working in a service-oriented environment. Equivalent education, experience and/or training may be substituted for the degree requirements. Responsibilities The OB Scrub Technician provides direct care to obstetrical/neonatal patient under the direct supervision of a licensed RN. The OB Scrub Technician performs the role of surgical scrub for obstetrically related surgical procedures. Maintains aseptic environment during set-up for surgery or delivery and throughout surgical procedures. Responsible for maintaining and stocking supplies and equipment throughout the Labor and Delivery Suite, including Recovery and Operating Rooms. Assists with perioperative care as outlined in the policy and procedure manuals. Assist with deliveries, as necessary. Assists with other aspects of unit operations as assigned. Qualifications Graduate from an accredited Surgical Technician Program. Certified as a Certified Surgical Technician (CST) by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting or equivalent required. AHA CPR required. One (1) year of related experience preferred. Must maintain a neat, clean, professional appearance. Must have understanding, patience, and tact in dealing with physicians and fellow workers. Must pay attention to detail. Must have excellent hand-eye coordination. Must be self-motivated and work in an efficient and effective manner. Must work in air-conditioned environment with temperature of 65-73 degrees and humidity of 45-55%. When assigned to pediatric cases, temperature may be up to 85-90 degrees F. Must wear hospital provided scrub attire while on duty. Potential for cuts, bruises, muscle strains and exposure to contagious disease via and body fluids. Potential for exposure to anesthesia waste gases, ethylene oxide, harsh disinfectants, sterilizing agents, high steam pressure agents and radiation.
